Nurture Kitchen is operated by Growing Change CIC, a social enterprise dedicated to improving children's nutrition and wellbeing in early years settings.
We're part of the Nurture Families ecosystem, which includes Nurture Kindergarten — a nursery in Worcestershire that we run ourselves. This isn't a side project or a VC-funded startup. It's a mission-driven initiative built by practitioners who live this work every single day.

When we were setting up Nurture Kindergarten, finding reliable food suppliers was harder than it should have been. Google searches led nowhere. Word-of-mouth was limited. FSA ratings were scattered across different websites. Vetting allergen management meant endless phone calls and PDFs.
We thought: there has to be a better way.
So we built Nurture Kitchen — a website that does what we wished existed when we were searching: verified suppliers, clear allergen info, FSA ratings front and centre, and a search that actually works.
Every nursery in England should find a trusted food supplier in minutes, not weeks.
Good nutrition shouldn't be this hard. Nursery managers are already stretched thin — they shouldn't have to spend hours hunting down suppliers, cross-referencing hygiene ratings, and chasing certifications. We're here to make it easier.

Hannah is the founder of Growing Change CIC and Managing Director of Nurture Kindergarten. She started Nurture Kitchen because finding food suppliers for her nursery was unnecessarily difficult — and she knew other settings were facing the same struggles.
Her vision: make nursery food sourcing as straightforward as it should be, so managers can focus on what actually matters — caring for children.
