Robinson's Catering is a family-run business in Tyseley, Birmingham, delivering fresh lunches, teas, and packed lunches daily to more than fifty nurseries across the West Midlands. Menus are developed alongside the Startwell team of nutritionists and dietitians, with all meals planned to be age-appropriate and delivered by dedicated, CRB-checked drivers.
Robinson's Catering was formed in 2007 and operates from two dedicated production kitchens in South Birmingham — one for hot food preparation and another for cold dishes. The company serves small private nurseries, multi-site groups, primary schools, and University of Birmingham nurseries, as well as HAF Holiday Clubs during school breaks.
All menus are created in collaboration with the Startwell team of nutritionists and dietitians, designed to be age-appropriate and to give children the right energy and nutrients for growth, development, and learning. The kitchen team has extensive experience managing specialist dietary, nutritional, and religious requirements, with allergens checked daily and alternate meals clearly labelled.
Every nursery customer is assigned a dedicated delivery driver employed directly by Robinson's Catering, with all key staff holding CRB checks and wearing uniforms. Meals are prepared from locally sourced ingredients and arrive fresh and ready to serve each day, covering a wide catchment across Birmingham and the broader West Midlands.
Robinson's Catering holds the highest possible FSA hygiene rating of five, most recently confirmed in September 2025, and an example seasonal menu is available to download from their website.
