Founded in 2021 by husband-and-wife team Lenko and Mulu from Pimlico, V&Me grew out of frustration with the limited quality of ready-made baby food available in supermarkets. What started as a fresh weaning meal delivery service has expanded into a full nursery and school catering operation led by Head Chef Kwesi and a team of paediatric nutrition specialists.
Every meal is cooked from scratch daily using fresh, responsibly sourced ingredients with absolutely no ultra-processed foods, added salt, or sugar. The menu is structured by developmental stage — smooth purees for early weaning, lumpy textures for older babies, and bite-sized portions for toddlers aged one to three — ensuring age-appropriate nutrition at every stage.
V&Me delivers freshly prepared hot lunches to nurseries and schools across most of London's postcodes, including zones stretching to BR, KT, and surrounding areas. Nurseries receive daily attendance-linked ordering, temperature-logged deliveries, and full allergen documentation that supports Ofsted compliance.
The company holds an FSA hygiene rating of five at its Parkfield Industrial Estate kitchen in Battersea and has won recognition at the Organic Baby Food Awards. Young England Kindergarten is among its named nursery clients.
