All menus are developed in collaboration with child nutrition consultant Charlotte Stirling-Reed, who brings years of experience working with children and local authorities. The kitchen prepares meals that cater for the full range of dietary needs including vegetarian, vegan, halal, gluten-free, dairy-free, and nut-free options, with a specific commitment to ensuring no child feels different or left out at mealtimes. Their Free From range eliminates all fourteen major allergens.
Meals are freshly cooked each morning at the Laughton facility and delivered piping hot in temperature-controlled, insulated boxes to nurseries across London, Brighton, East and West Sussex, Kent, Surrey, Hampshire, and Essex. Delivery is carried out by DBS-checked drivers using real-time trackable vehicles, and the twenty-one-day rotating menu ensures consistent variety throughout the term.
Zebedees is registered as an approved food business with Wealden District Council and holds an FSA hygiene rating of five. The company has been featured in Nursery Management Today and partners with industry bodies across the early years sector.
